"Bringing Rotaractors Together"

On February 22nd, 2025, the Rotaract Club of UCBS had the privilege of co-hosting the IDYE event, Saanjh 2.0, in Shimla. This remarkable event, organized by our district, aimed to bring together Rotaractors from different locations, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening inter-club bonds.
The journey of the participants began in Chandigarh, where local Rotaract clubs welcomed them with enthusiasm. As part of their itinerary, Shimla became one of their key destinations. We, alongside GDC took on the responsibility of ensuring a warm and hospitable experience for our visiting Rotaractors.
Upon their arrival in Shimla, our club members actively engaged in welcoming the participants and making them feel at home. The day was filled with meaningful interactions, where Rotaractors shared their traditions, ideas, and experiences, truly embodying the spirit of IDYE.
We ensured that the event ran smoothly by assigning dedicated members to assist with coordination, hospitality, and logistics. Special thanks to our volunteers who stepped up to make this event a success! Their efforts in managing the arrangements, engaging with guests, and representing our club with pride truly made a difference.
Events like Saanjh 2.0 reinforce the essence of Rotaract—connecting individuals beyond geographical boundaries, embracing diversity, and fostering lifelong friendships. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this enriching experience and look forward to more such collaborations in the future!
